There is a kind of freedom in the nude, where the vulnerability of being literally exposed meets the strength of the unapologetic celebration of one’s own body. The recurring theme of fading into monochrome vs. the celebration of colour and life is explored. The opposing pull of two extremes, greyed out or fully exposed, echoes any individual’s struggle with their own impacting forces: the need to reveal and the need to protect.
